Let's Throw It Altogether

There's not really a specific theme to his post, so here goes. I was a little bored yesterday, the TV was taken, the computer was occupied, my brain had fizzled at the moment during my writing, so I came up with these beauties:

I, using musical theory, have created order out of chaos. Okay, sorry for the Sherlock Holmes pun, but I was so bored and then so into creating these that it seemed like a very eccentric thing to do at the time. Those are quarters too, if you can't see. I'm thinking about drawing something like that, now that I've made a sculpture like that. They're destroyed now because I ended up putting too much on there.
And now for my first official movie review! Wait, I did one for Iron Man 2, so I guess this isn't that large of an event. oh well, here's the Prince of Persia review:
There are definitely some things to work out with this movie. The story was a very fluid and fast-paced, with a lot of traveling in between spots of flashbacks and important moments. Yet it seemed a little too fluid. There was no time to wonder 'what's next' because it moved forward too quickly. No questions or buildup of plot was required from the audience because it set it up for you. Basically, a movie meant to entertain, and nothing else.
Jake G. and Gemma A.'s acting was superb. They definitely put a lot of thought into the dialogue and that is clear by the great chemistry their characters' relationship seen on screen. that was definitely part of the movie I enjoyed. And when it came to dramatic scenes, no boring monologues were included; it went off very well.
The action was grand. Just as promised by the commercials and trailers, the fighting, swordsmanship, miscellaneous weaponry, and parkhour seen here seems hard to beat in movies to come. And the effects, I'm talking about the dagger, are great. They definitely made the scenes more enjoyable, just to sit there and gape at the coolness of it.
This is a movie simply to entertain, and nothing less.
Yeah, because this is the same one I posted on Yahoo, there's not many spoilers here, so that's why I didn't throw in the alert. But if you want to find the official Yahoo review I wrote, you'll have to have fun on your own.
So I'm considering broadening my minifigure collection now. There's some new Lego PoP sets out, and some of the characters are just superb. Money's always a problem though, so I'm not sure when I'll do it.

Next time I PROMISE my art show stuff WILL make it on here!

Guess What I"m Going to Do Saturday!

I'm hittin' the movies, that's what! So me and a few of my buddies are planning to see Prince of Persia(if not already guessed by the giant poster of Prince Dastan up front on this post) on Saturday, and although it's a Mattinae, or however you spell that word, it's still going to be awesome to spend the first real day of summer hanging with my pals.
Speaking of summer starting, does anybody else notice all these weird celebration thingys they do on TV? I've heard stuff like, "the kick-off for summer!" "the unofficial start of summer!" "First real movie of the summer" Well, maybe the last one wasn't too bad, since it was on an Iron Man 2 TV spot. plus, there is a really convenient pairing of movies this weekend. Sex and the City 2 is premiering(ick), so the girls and guys can go see separate movies. That's exactly what my family's doing. Oh, you just gotta love summer. And it's only just started!

Good-bye for now, my peeps!

Sorry for the Sideways

Okay, I know the top one's sideways, but this is a huge project. We did these silhouettes in art class, and well, I obviously filled mine with bunches of random stuff. Go ahead, take a look, though I'm not sure if you can read the writing on it. And yes, that's in my room. Don't make fun of it either!
So summer has officially started for me. Well, as of tomorrow. Today was my last day, so I had to say goodbye to everyone and such. Actually, only four or so of my friends gave an actual farewell, so I'm a little frustrated. But hey, if they're friends, then you can always talk to them. Speaking of which, I'm going to throw a special shout-out to one of my best friends, Erin, so everyone say what's up. *what's up!* Sorry if that freaks you other readers out, but I like to say hi to my friends. Back off!
Prince of Persia is due to come out Friday, and I'm scrambling to schedule a day that my friends can get together and see it. I'm actually making an effort to get together with some this summer, so I'm feeling pretty good.
See ya later, and next time I'm have some stuff about my art over the past year!

Comic Book HYPE!

Aaah! Okay, don't freak out. After seeing Iron Man 2 and developing even more writing ideas(sigh), I found a website I must have been blind not to think of before: Marvel Comics wiki. Go ahead, call me a nerd, dweeb, a person with no life. But, I just like looking up stuff about characters from franchises I like. And so, the top people I searched on there was:

-Venom -Iron Man -Black Widow -Felicia Hardy -Spider Man

Not much, as you can see. I have a very tunnel-like range of likes and dislikes when it comes to comics. It's weird, because not a lot of forms of franchises do that to me.
And summer's coming! I'm able to exempt all finals, and in case yo don't know what that means, I can skip them! I might just get out a week early as a matter of fact. Oh, by the way, don't think I'm leaving without an Avatar pic! Check this out!

HAGS guys!

Suit up!

So as all of you devoted fans of my blog know, two of the movies on my summer movie list are out now. And, just last night, I got to see one of the top-ranked!
So, here's my review of Iron Man 2. *SPOILERS ALERT* The plot is definitely fast-paced, and that always keeps an audience interested, right? There is just the right amount of suspense and action. Plenty of gorgeous actions shots and sequences, let me tell you. And with lots of new upgrades to the suit, Tony Stark is better than ever. The villain, Whiplash, is a great addition to the screen, and those whips?! That's one BA super-villain for ya. All in all, four and a half stars!
The trailers for Robin Hood and Prince of Persia are still looking great. (the link for PoP is sadly not one to the trailers :-()
Oh man, I'll have to raise a fortune to see all the great movies premiering this summer. *faint*
And for my daily Inheritance Cycle report(cue corny new music), I've officially read the new chapter included in the paperback edition of Brisingr. Oh, didn't you hear? The paperback version has a new chapter from Inheritance Book 4 called "King Cat." It reveals a werecat king, the start of book 4(a battle!), grudging attitude towards Angela, and the overall importance and bitterness of werecat society.
SO EXCITING!

List of Awesome Posters

Just So You Know

I've made some changes to my Summer Movies list. If only my teachers knew I had a movie list instead of a reading list. HA!
-Oceans -Prince of Persia -The Last Airbender -Iron Man 2 -Robin Hood -THe Sorcerer's Apprentice -The Karate Kid -Grown Ups
I recommend the Yahoo Summer Movie Guide for referencing info on all your favorites coming out this summer. Great photos, clips, trailers, pics, synopsises. Did I really just write that word?
Plus, there's another epic Avatar fanart on DeviantArt I've got to share(see above for all you people who don't understand) I personally dislike Twilight with a fever, so I had to post this! And, DeviantArt is awesome anyways, so check it out, and once again, I am working hard on uploading my stuff.

"You complete me!"(Robert Downey Jr. is saying my goodbye his time :-) )

Get ready to laugh your heads off

Ok, I know I was on here a few hours ago, but check this OUT!

Epic Avatar Fanart Comic!

You will have definitely had to seen the show to understand the humor, but I was laughing so hard I was crying at this! or, maybe that's just because I that much of an Avatard.
See ya later!

To me, my fishies!

As you can very well see, there is a lot of new stuff on my blog today. Well, I added it last night but I doubt you guys waited up all night to look at it. But still, these fishies are AMAZING! The widget is by an Adam Bowman(Don't worry, I've never heard of him either), and they are absolutely positively awesome. You just hover you cursor in front of them, and TA-DA! Fake, firebending- no, wait, wrong pun. They follow you around. It seemed a shame to box them up on the side of my blog, so I moved their aquarium to a space above the posts. Hope you enjoy!
So in other news, I just keep cranking out idea after idea. I've conceived a new topic for a trilogy, a new play script, drawing compositions, and related things galore. Plus, I've signed on to DeviantArt now, though I'm not sure how to upload my stuff on there yet. Once I figure out how, however, I will let you guys know. Plus, the emoticons there are pretty sweet.

W.E.15 out.
